Yes. It uses internationally defined exact values, such as 1 inch = 25.4 mm and 1 pound = 0.45359237 kg.
How is temperature converted?+
Using Celsius as the base: Fahrenheit is F = C × 9/5 + 32 and Kelvin is K = C + 273.15.
